Illustration of Load Frequency Control of Hybrid Renewable System With Tuned PIDF Controller

This paper presents modelling of isolated hybrid renewable energy system (HRES). It consisting up of two renewable energy sources namely solar and wind, diesel generator set and flywheel energy storage. Different case scenario is take for analysing frequency change. Also, the efficient working of the diesel generator set at the time of peak load is also studied. The whole isolated grid system is optimised with PIDF controller in the feedback path for load frequency control. Moreover, the study model is simulated in MATLAB platform.
