Preferencia de hábitat del orden carnivora en las veredas Mesa Baja y Tolemaida en el Fuerte Militar de Tolemaida (Cundinamarca, Colombia)

I carried out a study on the habitat preference of the order Carnivora in theTolemaida Military Fort, between February and June of 2004. This area isimportant due to the fact that it has remanents of tropical dry forest withrestricted access, which makes it a possible area for fauna conservation. Forthe establishment of conservation areas it is important to know theabundance, distribution and habitat use of the fauna, especially of umbrellaand keystone species such as the carnivores.
