The NA3 multiprocessor acquisition system

Abstract We describe here the final acquisition system of the NA3 experiment as it has evolved during six years of data taking at the CERN SPS. The emphasis is made on the multiprocessor philosophy which allowed on-line processing of the data and a good survey of the whole apparatus together with a high acquisition rate.
