Handle assembly with sliding handle parts

A handle assembly according to the invention (1) encompasseth a grip element with a grip portion (3) and at least one other handle part (4), a shaft member (5) which is rigidly connected to the base handle member (3), and a restoring element (10), wherein the handle portions (3, 4) each comprise at least a sliding surface for a mutual abutment, wherein the sliding surfaces at least partially slanted and extend at an angle other than 90 ° to the shaft axis, said guide means (8, 9) is provided, wherein the grip member in an initial state having the minimum outer periphery and by shifting the handle part (3, 4) against each other along the sliding surfaces in an actuated state is transferable in which is enlarged the outer circumference of the grip element relative to the minimum outer circumference. The handle assembly according to the invention is handy and flexible.
