TURNER SENDROMLU BİR OLGU: YELE (PERDE) BOYUN DEFORMİTESİNİN BEŞLİ FLEP İLE DÜZELTİLMESİ

The Turner syndrome, phenotypically characterized with the presence of 45 XO in the genotypes of women patients and it may also include gonadal dysgenesis, short, webbed neck, wide and low hair line. The patients who suffer from Turner syndromare not mentally retarded. But their appearance related to this deformity prevents them from taking place in society. For this reason the repair of this deformity is very important. In order to repair the webbed neckdeformity, different surgical methods have been used such as; Z plasties, tissue expansion, excision from the posterior region, the use of the lateral cervical advancement flap. In our case study; with the use of five flap plasty, relapsed webbed neckdeformity have been repaired. The normal neckcontour was achieved, reasonable hair line was obtained and incision line corrected to the postero-lateral area. Keywords: Turner syndrome, five flap plasty, webbed neck.
