Fabrication of Zeolite Hollow Fibers by Coaxial Electrospinning

2008
Ultralong uniform hollow fibers with walls made of zeolite(silicalite-1) nanoparticles have been fabricated for the first time by the coaxial electrospinningtechnique, followed by removal of the occluded organic species. The zeolitehollow fibers could contain different level of micro-, meso-, and macroporosity depending on the experimental conditions used. The method should be applicable to zeolitesof other structure types.
