Nuclear structure dependence in analyzing powers

Calculations of the angular distributions of the cross-sections and analyzing powers in the Al reaction have been made using microscopicform factors. A wide range of shapes of the microscopicform factors, simulating different degrees of configuration mixing in the nuclear wave functions, fail to provide angular distributions of the analyzing powers that agree with experiment for the 2.73 and 4.41 MeV, 5/2+ states.
