Reflections on and Within a Mentoring Programme for Academic Staff Enrolled in a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education

The professionalization of teaching through a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education has the potential for transforming the experiences of students and teachers. Such a diploma needs to respond to the calls for decolonization as well as to cater for diversity, complexity, and individual and collective wellbeing. It has to support busy staff, new to the discipline of higher education, in furthering their development of approaches to teaching and assessment in their disciplines.
