Brief Summary Mitral valve repair in neonates and infants is associated with high mortality risk. If a favorable result is achieved and maintained for 24 months, however, durability mirrors that of older children. Knowing which anatomic substrates can and cannot be successfully repaired is critical to improving outcomes for this challenging cohort.
