Smart Vest Design for Vessel Based on Artificial Magnetic Conductors

A low observability electromagnetic protective clothing design method based on artificial magnetic conductor(AMC) structure is proposed. The basic principle of reducing the reflected energy of electromagnetic wave with AMC structure and the typical structure design workflow are introduced. Taking a small vessel model as an example, the maximum radar cross-sectional area corresponding to the typical incident direction before and after the installation is compared and analyzed through simulation calculation, and the effectiveness of the proposed design method in reducing the radar cross-sectional area of the vessel is verified.
