Generalised Canonical Correlation Analysis for the interpretation of fluorescence spectral data

1998
The paper reports an application of Generalised Canonical CorrelationAnalysis to fluorescence spectral data. Emission fluorescence spectra can be recorded for several excitation wavelengths and can be presented as 3-waydata tables. The objec- tives of the data treatment are to describe and compare the samples by taking into account all the emission spectra, and to reve al characteristic excitation and emission wavelengths. Generalised Canonical CorrelationAnalysis has been tested on fluorescence emission spectra acquired for binary mixtures of raw materials in the food domain. The application of the method within the con - text of spectral data is presented.
