Magnetic susceptibility of synthetic carbon and graphite materials with iron contents up to some weight percent

Magnetic susceptibility of polygranular carbon and graphite materials was investigated by means of a new measurement technique which avoids free rotation of the samples in the magnetic field. The influence of iron contents was of special interest. Additionally X-ray wide angle diffraction, Hall effect and electrical resistivitymeasurements were performed
