A study of the 39K(α,p)42Ca reaction at 25 MeV bombarding energy

Energy levels in 42Ca have been studied by means of the three-particle transfer reaction 39K(α,p)42Ca. Angular distributions of the emerging protons have been measured in a multigap magnetic spectrograph. Theoretical cross sections have been calculated using both a microscopic and a semi-microscopic model.
