$K^{0}_{S}$ and $\Lambda$ production in quark and gluon jets at LEP

A measurement of the $\mathrm{K^0_s}$ and $\Lambda$ inclusive production rates and momentum spectra in two- and three-jet eventsis presented. On the basis of about 3.1~million Z decays collected with the L3 detector at LEP, we observe that the production of these particles is well modeled by string fragmentation.
