Structural, morphological and capacitive features of [(Pb0.5Bi0.25Y0.25) (Fe0.5Ti0.5)O3] solid state system

2021
Abstract In the present assessment the Yttrium doped solid solution of BiFeO3 and PbTiO3 has been formed using solid state chemical itinerary. The structural, morphological and capacitive feature of single phase [(Pb0.5Bi0.25Y0.25) (Fe0.5Ti0.5)O3] solid state system has been detail studied to understand the capacitive properties. The primary study of XRD investigation affirms the solid state compound shows tetragonal structure. The non-uniform but non-void grains are spread on the surface of the material which is imitated from the SEM analysis. The substitution of small amount of Yttrium to BFO-PT solution enhances the dielectric constant as well as reduces the tangent loss or electrical leakage which is studied from temperature and frequency response of corresponding electrical parameter of the material. Due to the above important characteristics the promising material may be stand as a contender for development of different electronic perceiving device.
