Although brucellosisis not uncommon in Saudi Arabia, neonatal brucellosishas been infrequently reported. In this case of neonatal brucellosis, Brucella abortuswas isolated by blood culturefrom both the mother and the neonate. Serologywas positive onlyin the mother.
