Contribution de la spectrométrie de masse au développement de la chimie combinatoire

2000
In the field of the search for biological active compounds, the development of high throughput screening technics, combinatorial chemistry and parallel synthesis have caused the need for efficient analytical methods able to handle complex mixtures or large numbers of compounds. In this article, various mass spectrometric technics allowing the analysis of libraries or collections of compounds will be discussed. New high throughput technologies like high-density sampling MALDI (matrix assisted laser desorption ionization) targets, coupling of parallel liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, and new developments of mass spectrometry-based preparative chromatography, isotopic encoding and biological screening will be reported.
