Detailed Study of the Variable Afterglow of GRB 060526

Using one of the largest photometric datasets ever obtained for a GRB, we investigate the highly variable afterglow light curveof Gamma‐Ray Burst060526. The light curveshows clear deviations from a power‐law behaviour which we attribute to energy injections. We fit the data to a numerical model including 6 energy injections which explains the full temporal behaviour of the light curvein many wavebands, ranging from NIR to X‐rays.
