The use of novel nanostructures has been implemented in various sectors in order to improve the production processes and increase productivity. One of these is the method of electrospinning having the characteristic of being simple, inexpensive and use a variety of materials that makes it one of the most used. The structures obtained have unique characteristics, including its large contact area and high porosity. Due of these properties, nano-fi bers are of great interest to be applied in diff erent areas such as biomedical, textile and food getting benefi cial results.
