Observations of Λc+ semileptonic decay

Direct observations of the semileptonic decayof Λc+ in the decay channels Λc+→Λe+X and Λc+→Λμ+X have been made using the ARGUS detector at the DORISII e+e− storage ring. The cross section times branching ratio were found to be σ(e+e−→Λc+X)·BR(Λc+→Λe+X)=4.20±1.28±0.71 pb and σ(e+e−→Λc+X)·BR(Λc+→Λμ+X)=3.91±2.02±0.90 pb.
