Granular cell tumor of the larynx in a 5-year-old child.

The youngest reported case of laryngeal granular cell tumoris presented together with transmission electron micrographsof the tumor cells. Whereas subglottic involvement is unusual in adults, a review of the literature reveals that three of the seven youngest patients (including the present patient) with laryngeal granularcell lesions had a subglottic tumor immediately below the anterior commissure.
