Figure 1: Clips usually used for harvesting of the internal thoracic artery are placed on the stitches of the first plan of the stentless Medtronic Freestyle® bioprosthesis (in that case, using the sub-coronary technique). They are not in contact with blood and are situated between the two aortic walls. Figure 2: Chest X-ray with an arrow showing the clips placed all around the aortic annulus. TAVI can be easily performed, even if no calcification is present.
