Estimation of Leak of a Resistive Plate Chamber by Monitoring Absolute Pressure

The measurement from a manometer over a long period shows a large variation due to solar atmospheric tides. But the measurements of absolutepressure, both outside and insideof resistive plate chamber (RPC), are independent of each other. By monitoring the absolutepressures, at both outside and insideof the RPC, along with the temperature, the leakage rate can be estimated quantitatively.
