High Resolution Seismic Reflection Survey Using S-wave Vibrator

This paper describes the results of an SH wave seismic reflection survey of a limestone dip falling in the Orbe plain near Yverdon in Switzerland. The goal of this acquisition is to demonstrate the capabilities of a shear wave seismic vibrator using electrical linear motors to obtain high resolution images of the subsoil.
