Técnica Digital para Medición de Erosión en Modelos Físicos

An experimental digital technique is presented tomeasuring erosion in physical scale models. This technique allows generatingdetailed3D mapping of the surface, resulting recorded scenes of a hydraulic test. In this paper,an Microsoft Kinect camera was used.This camera allows generate an optical imageand another image of depths. The data measured depths and his locations allow digitally reconstruct the surface with higher spatial resolution of the technique traditionally used (which is a manual survey points, using an optical leveland millimeter scale). The proposed digital technique does not modifythe condition of the model, it is a non-intrusive technique.This technique significantly improves the spatial resolution and density pointsof the coveragearea by overlap of images, and reduces the time spent in each topobathimetric measurement.
