On June 18, 2024, a delegation led by Elisabetta MAGNAGHI, Vice President and Academic Affairs Director of KEDGE Business School, visited the USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry (ICCI). Weimin ZHANG, Party Secretary and Dean of ICCI, along with faculty representatives, participated in the meeting.
Elisabetta MAGNAGHI and her delegation toured the Zizhu Research Base of ICCI, which included the work exhibition of 2023 student from the course "Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship - Creative Practice," the 4D Film Art and Technology Laboratory, the Post-production All-media Center, AI Music and Sound Studio, and other educational and research facilities. The visitors experienced firsthand the advanced teaching standards, rich educational resources, high-quality educational environment, cutting-edge teaching facilities, and the international cultural atmosphere of ICCI.
During the subsequent discussion session, both parties reviewed their cooperation history since 2003. That year, KEDGE Business School and Shanghai Jiao Tong University launched an Global MBA Program. In 2010, with approval from the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the two institutions established an MBA degree program, making it one of the earliest joint degree programs in China. The SJTU-KEDGE Global MBA program is accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. Since its inception, it has successfully conducted 20 sessions and enrolled over 1,300 students. In the 2023 Financial Times ranking for the best Executive MBA programs, it ranked 18th globally and within the top 10 in China, maintaining its position as a world-class business program.
Both sides discussed the latest developments in their collaborative projects and had in-depth discussions on future faculty arrangements and teaching cooperation. This visit further deepened the understanding between the two institutions, and both parties will continue to enhance cooperation, continuously improve the quality of education and internationalization, and contribute to cultivating more globally competitive business elites.
