USC-SJTU Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (hereinafter referred to as ICCI) is proud to host the fourth International Conference on Global Cultural and Creative Industries.The conference will take place on a yearly basis, and will focus on certain themes. In the past, we have focused on the theme of the "Development of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Shared World."
As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, cultural and creative industries have imbued society with unprecedented vitality and energy, helping to fuel traditional economic sectors. With the restructuring and upgrading of the cultural and creative industries, pedagogical approaches and research paradigms alike are also undergoing fundamental transformation. Meanwhile, global collaboration remains essential to these fields. Only through transnational exchange, the discussion of global issues, and the mutual benefits of international cooperation can these industries attain new heights.
Under the theme of the “Development of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Shared World," the 2021 International Conference on Global Cultural and Creative Industries endeavors to bring together international and domestic scholars as well as industrial professionals in order to explore the potentialities and latest cutting-edge research in the cultural and creative industries. Panel topics will include ‘Digital Communication’, ‘Digital Entertainment’, ‘Cultural and Creative Industry & Art’, ‘Education in Cultural and Creative Industries’, ‘Traditional Culture’, Deans’ Forum, and Editors’ Forum. We hope this conference can serve as a site for scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers across the world to make a lasting contribution to the field of cultural and creative industries.
