本次展览展示了中国当代视觉艺术家的日常实践和创作过程。这一代艺术家与数字技术和人工智能接触频繁，这也对他们的创作过程产生了深远的影响。如今，艺术家们的创作过程非常数字化，这在创作效率、准确性和生产力等方面为他们带来了许多帮助。此外，关注创作过程也很重要，因为这一部分也可以被视为 “艺术”。正如展览的标题所示，过程就是艺术。更重要的是，本次展览希望突出艺术家在与人工智能和数字软件的合作关系中的创造力。

本次展览的作品来自 6 位中国当代视觉艺术家，Emma Duester博士在 2024 年期间对他们的实践和创作过程进行了为期 3 个月的跟踪采访。“跟踪”方法包括每周或每天接收作品更新，及日常工作过程的截图。在此期间，艺术家们分享了许多图片，包括他们在电脑上使用人工智能和数字软件的数字工作流程截图、视频和声音创作、三维渲染和混合，以及数字展览视图创作。本次展览精选了其中一些图片。

This exhibition showcases the daily practices and creation processes of contemporary Chinese visual artists. This generation of artists are immersed in digital technologies and AI, which is having a profound impact of their creation process. The creation process is now very digital, which is helpful in many ways for artists. For instance, in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Moreover, it is important to focus on the process because this part can also be seen as 'art'. As the title of the exhibition suggests, process is art.  More importantly, it is important to highlight artists’ creativity in their collaborative working relationship with AI and digital software.

The exhibition includes 6 contemporary Chinese visual artists, whose practices and creation processes Dr. Emma Duester followed interviewed over 3 months during 2024. The ‘following’ method included receiving work updates each week or every day, including screenshots of daily work processes. The artists shared many images, including screenshots of their digital working processes using AI and digital software on their computer, the creation of videos and sound, 3D rendering and blending, and digital exhibition view creation. This exhibition includes a selection of some of these images.
