Developing druggable delivery systems and advanced dosage forms of biologic medicines
Recent inventions:
- Sustained-release microspheres of delicate protein drugs in native form and highly simplified production engineering;
- Phase-transition microneedle patches for efficient transdermal delivery of proteins;
- Nano-encapsulation of delicate proteins in native form;
- Uni-molecular polyplexes formed form from a networked cationic polymer of customizable size and pH-responsive degradability;
- Functionalization of polyplexes with a self-assembled unilamella membrane of rationally designed a tri-block copolymer for systemic delivery of nucleic acids.
