Recently, the second list of universities and disciplines included in the "double world-class project" was released by the ministries of education and finance and the National Development and Reform Commission.

         Two disciplines in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering(SCCE), CHEMISTRY, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, are included in the project’s second list. In the first phase of the "double world-class project", SCCE has achieved remarkable accomplishment comprehensively in discipline base, personnel training, scientific research, faculty building, social services, cultural heritage, international cooperation, etc., and has maintained a strong momentum of development. Based on the disciplinary advantages, SCCE will continue to explore the frontier of academic research, serve the country’s strategic needs, implement the fundamental task of "building moral character and educating people" under the guideline of "Chinese characteristics, world-class".
