Biography
Haibo Liao was born in 1971. She studied in Liaoning University and East China Normal University and obtained her Ph.D. degree.
Research Projects and Publications
She has been involved in a project A Comparative Study of the Originality of Chinese and Foreign Animation funded by Shanghai Social Science Foundation.
She has published a monograph entitled Television and Film Folklore and participated in the compilation of the textbook News Gathering and Writing. Moreover, she has a number of articles published in Chinese core technical journals. Selected papers are Film and Television Art in Folklore Studies and Children’s Fantasy – On the Reception of Animated Films.
